    Applications all loading and running S L O W!!!

    Hi,

After Windows loads, all of my programs are loading so slow and running really slow. Some even lock-up and I need to use Task Manager to stop them running?

I have ran MalwareBytes and CC Cleaner through the system but to no avail?

I have ran System Restore and restored to a previous time but, again, no joy?

    All help appreciated

    Hello runedog,

Try running this tool to help cleans things up. During install choose "Save As" to the Desktop.

    Take a look here:

Afterwards, post back to let us know if there is any improvement.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi John,

Many thanks for your reply. I have ran most of the tests but to no avail. I haven't done a in-place install yet so I'm wondering if this should be my next option? I carried out a in-place install about a month ago too.

I notice some programs, i.e. Firefox, Thunderbird, Mailwasher work ok, but some like Revo and others just freeze up?

I am trying to reinstall (in-place) Win7 but every time I click on Install Now the same option keeps appearing, Install Now?

Please upload any MBAM logs, and I would suggest trying AdwCleaner Download

You will need to reboot the computer afterwards. Please post the log file which is then produced.

Please also download Process Explorer, I will give you some instructions on what you should look for.
