Copy Past ctrl c and ctrl v not working no more

    Good afternoon all,
    Happy halloween

I m on Windows 7 based asus laptop and i have Oracle virtual box installed with as a system Windows XP.
Since a few weeks ctrl c and ctrl v doesn't work no more. I used to copy text from my system to the virtual box system but this doesn t work no more. I have the same thing when not using virtual box.
The problem is not hardware related i checked with a different mouse same thing.

I there a way to resolve this ?

    Thanks in advance

Try sharing it with the host system

Hi thank you very much for this.
I remember when working in a servicedesk a few years ago that we had a small freeware application, I remember it being ms dos based but not sure about it .
That application cleared all caches I guess and always solved ctrl c and ctrl v problems.
I don't remember the name of that applicatioin

    ctrl-c doesnt work or ctrl-v?
Does right click->copy and then right click->paste work?
    Does ctrl x work (cut)?

ctrl-x doesn't "cut" selected text in word processor?
    ctrl-a does select all text?

Select some text. Now right click. Is "cut" clickable, if so do it. Text has been cut? right click again and paste.
