[Power Plan] Turned off HDD state causing rest of system to delay

    Hello,

When I try to access *some* data on my SSDs, the computer to wait on the HDD to spin up should they happen to be turned off (power plan settings).

Is this an inherent problem with Windows 7?

Its an inherent problem with all systems that try and access sleeping drives to pull information from them. Even if you are going to a specific drive that is not sleeping, the process of going there might trigger the other drive to be accessed and waken up.

Thank you; I will try to use batch commands then to spin down unneeded drives.
    Not ideal but it's something.
