Should I use a Registry Cleaner?

Running Windows 7 32-bit operating system on Gateway GT5622 desktop computer. Event Viewer reports errors 7026, 7003, and 7001. The description for these errors is misconfigured system files. Should I use a system cleaner to correct these errors?

Don't use registry cleaners!! They delete registry settings you no longer need. But they don't fix a system and they don't make your system faster! Sometimes they delete too much.... making your system unbootable or in a wrong state

"device manager" gives no "other devices"? "device manager" no drivers with exclamation marks?

Also do this in Elevated Command Prompt

    Code:
    sfc /scannow
    No integrity errors?

Sorry I gathered the information before reading your note about Elevated Command Prompt.
I logged on as Administrator and used the Snipping Tool to copy and paste information into a Word Document. I placed information on separate pages because I thought you could go through it easier that way; willing to redo if necessary. When I attached the Word document it did not upload because the file size was over the limit. If I break it into parts it will upload. So you will likely get 1 of 3, 2 of 3 ,3 of 3. Here goes.

Many of us use, and recommend, CCleaner which has a good, not too aggressive registry cleaner.

    Hi Britton30,

Thanks for the advice on CCleaner. I already use it and like it. The desktop computer I'm having a problem with is one a bought for my son. He called me and said, "Dad its not working" so I have it back, I don't know what he did. It was wonderful condition when I gave it to him. One thing I would like to become more proficient at is backup and restore. Would appreciate advice; have purchased a license for Macrium Reflect. I like its features, but I have not used it extensively.
