Windows is pretty slow

Yes like the above person mentioned you can use a partition manager to change the size of
The partition.

I'm downloading FBackup. It is free and opensource too and is lightweight. Will it be enough for me to make a backup or I should use either Macrium or Acronis for imaging?

Up to you actually. A backup SHOULD be enough for what you want. Having said THAT an image is always nice to have and has saved my bacon on more than one occasion. If you have a recent one it should be O.K.. I DO recommend having at least one image. I have one of a pristine new install and one of after I've installed my "usual" software. But in the end its your call.

I haven't run JRT in a while. I think I should run it. Thanks for the suggestion Devlin. I've done a backup of my WHOLE HDD but I'm thinking to save the idea of increasing the C: drive for later. Any other suggestions to speed up for now?
