    Windows is pretty slow

I know that my computer is quite SLOW from the beginning but it has become a bit too slow in the past few days. Could someone inspect my laptop so that I can find out how it is so slow? Also, if someone could guide me through which apps to keep or not and what remove etc. Anyways, I want to optimize my laptop and I have very few ideas on how to do it. I'd really appreciate any help! Thanks! Happy New Year btw.

I would first do a thorough registry cleaner using the cccleaner program; heres the link to that:

Also scan for spyware using the program in my signature called superantispyware. Download install and run that.

Then i would also do a defrag of all of your hard drives. here is a link on how to do this as well:

You can go through these to speed it up. Just click on the link. What you DON'T want to do is use one of those all in one optimizers like Advanced System Care.

    Thanks matts6887.

aritra2116 , have you removed all the crapware from Dell? The last one I bought , admittedly a looooooong time ago, was filled to the brim with it. Here's a tutorial on how to do that if you haven't. Just click on the link.

Nope, not yet. I'm doing SAS and defragging with Defraggler at the moment and it is gonna take HOURS. Will come back after a few hours I guess.

I recommend to Scan your laptop using Trojan Remover:
    http://simplysup1.com/download/dl/trjsetup688.exe

It's a 30 day trial version but works really good. By now you'll need it just once to full scan your laptop and check if there are viruses or malware activity taking place.
The application will let you know if there's something suspicious and what to do.

Okay, done those things mentioned by matt. SAS found 4 things of which mostly were cookies. Now I'll clean bloatware.

I went to msconfig and now I have a clean boot! I see a considerable performance hike! . I've identified 2 bloatware files
:- Dell Webcam Central and Cyberlink YouPaint. Shall I remove them?

yes!; definitely take them out especially if you know you dont need the webcam software for anything(at least not right now anyway). And the youpaint is probably similar to windows paint with some more editing capability so if you know you dont need that; take it out.
