Start up issues with windows 7 home basic 64bit

it all started 4 or 5 days back when all my desktop was showing the error message - something like "Your activation period has expired" . so i uninstalled the service pack as per the goggled information to stop that error message prompting up again n again.
i use MSE as anti virus ; today it was showing ----> real time protection is turned off
i couldn't turn it on after several attempts
so i uninstalled MSE, reboot my laptop then installed it again. after i worked on for 2/3 hours , as i was about to reboot my laptop all i could get to " see start up repair "

i never got the option to select the startup repair , it sarted up itself all i could see is the second snap shot like seen in this post Startup Repair

i think i have started it up twice or thrice as per Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times only once i got the option to click NEXT , after doing so it said something like - ur system will restart if the problem is fix if not start up repair will start. and start up repair started.

i am afraid to loose my data in the laptop and thus refrained myself from attempting the same startup repair process again

should i give few more tries or go on to a local help person for recovering my data
