Windows 7: Physical memory fills up FAST (89% in under a hour)

Physical memory fills up FAST (89% in under a hour)

So I've recently had this problem. My physical memory starts off around 25% and fills up to 80-90% within an hour. I've done an In depth Virus scan of everything on my computer. My anti-virus software is ESET NOD32 ANTI-VIRUS. I have never had this problem before and my computer is 4 years old. I also recently upgraded the Power supply, RAM and Graphics card.
I have a Aurora_R3 computer.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz
8.00GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Also it never fulls up completely. It stays at a steady 88-89% and I have no idea why. This problem has started to occur about 2 days or less ago. Also my CPU usage is always low. It never skyrockets unless I'm running Battlefield 4 or other high intensity graphic games.

The nvstreamsvc.exe (Associated with NVIDIA) is obviously the problem. I did end the process completely and it solved it. But It turns its self back on once I close the task manager. So I'm stumped.

64-bit Windows 10 Pro

Hello Blakerz,

That would be the NVIDIA Streamer Service (NvStreamSvc) for NVIDIA SHIELD. It's part of GeForce Experience. If you don't use it, then you could stop and disable the service that should stop it from running.

Services - Start or Disable

Hope this helps,

I was able to stop it via Services. I just have one more question, is there any way I can stop it from automatically starting so I don't have to stop it every time my computer starts up? It personally doesn't matter to me because it takes seconds to do, it just seems that it would get tedious over time. Also, thanks for the info!

Disabling the service should stop it. Stopping it doesn't disable it.

If you don't use NVIDIA Experience, then you could also uninstall it in Programs and Features to stop it.

Cached fills up physical memory
From the moment I turn on my computer the cached memory slowly goes higher and higher until it gets to 90%+ physical memory usage and I have to restart. I'm really not good with computers so I have no idea what's going on.

Cache memory fills up RAM so I can't play performance heavy games
Hello, I have a really powerful gaming rig with Intel Core i7 2.8 GHz, Crucial C300 64GB SSD and 8 gigs of RAM which most would think is more than enough to run even the most performance demanding of games. I was playing COD: Blackops the other day and Windows told me it had to close some...
