    SFC /scannow reveals corrupt files after failed windows 10 upgrade

    I honestly have no idea how to replace the corrupted files as I do not know where to get them. I have found a tutorial by microsoft explaining how to replace them, but not WHERE to get them. If there is an alternative method to fixing it, that would be great.

    Edit: My DVD/CD drives don't seem to work very well and I'm having trouble creating a bootable USB drive to run a system repair from windows installation media.

    Below is the sfcdetails dump:

    The scan results can be ignored. They are the result of KB3068708;

    The two files are marked as static files in the update. When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or actual corruption on a device that is running this update, and this issue will be fixed in a later service update.

    If it bothers you just uninstall and hide the update when it re appears in windows update.

    Why did your Windows 10 upgrade fail ?

    The files come from windows update, and as UNI says, there`s nothing to worry about.
