    Slow boot - long OSLoaderDuration

I started having excessively long boot times ~ 4 months ago. Using Event Viewer, I noticed that the OSLoaderDuration went from ~6 seconds to ~63 seconds. I made no hardware changes around this time frame.

    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit
    CPU: AMD FX8350
    RAM: 16 GB
    Disk: Intel 335 240GB SSDSC2CT240A4 (SSD)

    Multiple things you can try:
    1, disk fragment.
2, this on the desktop shortcuts slow to boot time, because the Pc has to load both at the same time.
3, Programs running at start up?
4, Pm me if you need some more info.

I appreciate the time but I don't think your suggestions are on target.

    1) Defrag an SSD?

    2) Desktop shortcuts? This would not explain the slow OSLoaderDuration.

    3) I ran xbootmgr and program start up is not the problem.

I wasn't under the impression that you has a SSD.
