How fast should WIN 7 (64) PRO LOAD UP?

    I quit caring about reboot time though, the system is still very fast and responsive in all things once running.
    Check the ASUS BIOS, there is a boot delay you can adjust, yours may be set at a high number. I have my 2 asus boards set at 3 seconds for a total bios time of about 10 seconds.

    I have no Boot Delay setting, only Fast Boot Enable/Disable. Three boards are this way.

    @rivrbyte17 - look on the bright side, if you had Windows 8 it boots so fast you can't get into safe mode by pressing F8

    Then you'd have win 8 though. Some have reported it booting much slower than w7.

    MS acknowledge that W8 F8 is a problem. They suggest a workaround from within the OS - not much use if the thing won't boot.
