Windows 7 proffessional 64 bit print problem

I just installed windows 7 64 bit and I am using a program at work that is called designpro5 which is an avery software program I use to edit time cards. I want to print all my time cards at once like I had in windows xp I go to explorer and highlight all the time cards which is 14 of them and right click print. It will print 9 and sometimes less of the 14 files that were highlighted. Does anyone have any idea why this would not work in windows 7 like it did in windows xp and I am still using the HP deskjet 2512 printer that I used in XP.

    Thank You,
    Greg

Are you using the correct HP Windows 7 64 bit driver for the printer?

I assume, from your post, that you are not printing them from the Designpro program, but just highlighting the file listing and printing from that. Which could be an issue since the files are in a proprietary Avery Designpro format. I have used the Avery Designpro to create business cards and labels, and can only print those from the Designpro program.

As you will find out, how things work or worked in XP isn't always the case with Vista/Win7/Win8.

Update. 1. I checked my version of Designpro and it is V5.5 (this is the latest version and what you should have).

    2. I tried printing several documents (PDF files) at one time. They all printed OK by highlighting the ones I wanted, however, they did not directly print from Windows, Adobe Acrobat Reader automatically initialized and they actually printed from the Adobe program, to my HP printer.

Yes you are correct just highlighting the files in windows explorer and printing. Now windows 7 has a issue that it will not let over 15 things print at one time without changing the registery settings, but I have tried to print 14 and it won't let me if its a designpro file but I can print 15 Microsoft office files at one time. Its some compatibility issue with designpro but I have no idea yet on how to fix it.

Do you have the latest Designpro version? As I noted the one I have is V 5.5.

Yes I have the 5.5 version of DesignPro and if I go to Explorer and highlight 12 PDF files, it will print all of them. It seems like it is only a issue of highlighting the designpro files and printing them. I can open designpro and print one by one all day long. I feel its a compatibility thing but not for sure. Any thoughts are helpful. Thank you

I've tried other files, such as MS Word "doc" files and they all print, like the PDF files. It would appear to just be an issue with the Avery program. Avery would have to address this problem.
