    Event Viewer Report ID

OMG I can't believe I'm posting this, but I must be blind today because I can't find my answer.

Where do I find the report listed in Report ID in the Event Viewer under General when error is selected?

    I know, I can't believe I can't figure it out either!

    Thanks for the help.

Can you post a screen print showing where you see Report ID ?

In Event Viewer / General I don't see Report ID when I look at an Error (or any) event

    I see what you mean.
The report id is not listed in all errors, that's why I didn't see it and asked.

See if you can find the report in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER

No, everything in there is 3 years old, except for 1 thing which is a GoogeUpdate failure.

What do I use to see .wer files?

    Thanks for the help.

This is what I found for WER files:
    Windows Error Reporting: Getting Started

Did your PC crash when you had the error ?
Maybe there is a dump file ???

No crash, so no dump. I will study the url you show here and see if I can figure out what to do.

    Thanks.
