    Hi again

I've read them, thing is I am not sure bitlocker is on my system?

Attached, the policy screen and it says not config for bitlocker.

Attached icons view in control panel and no bitlocker option.

I'll keep digging, but will this bitlocker be the reason I can't run 'rate my computer?

Well, let me ask you this.. Do you have the reinstall dvd /cd that came with this computer ?
You may want to consider one of these options : Repair Install or Clean Install Windows 7

The problem is, that your OS is encrypted from what I could tell from your earlier post.

    Hi, sorry to frustrate

My system was pre installed but has a recovery section.

Maybe I should be going back to the seller about this as they set it up?

There is an issue for sure, as the one tutorial clearly states that the Bitlocker does not come with your stated version OS. But, you can not access your apparently encrypted hard drive to run a program that needs access . Post back your results as they may help someone who has had this same issue.
If you use the Recovery program , I am not sure it would fix the issue, but, it is worth a shot .

Could it be the recovery partition itself causing this I note has no drive letter?
    Thanks for all your help.
I have also emailed the seller

    Hi, all checks out thanks.

    I found this info
Remove Bitlocker components from Windows 7 Pro

Looks like it might be a bug?
