which of these apps can be safely uninstalled?

I've uninstalled lots of programs, mainly Hewlett Packard stuff. It's freed up a lot of disc space, and i think my computer runs a little better too. I still have some stuff worth removing, but need help deciding what is safe to remove? I'm only focused on the apps installed in 2010..

3. of the tasks highlighted in yellow, does anyone know what these are? a few of them look important, but i have no idea what they do..

I cannot speak for the HP stuff mate but both my Toshibas - notorious for the bloat I have installed SDD's in and then an OEM and there has been no problems at all.
You can of course do this but it means backing up all of the data and programs first.
Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 this will rid you of all the bloat and you don't have to buy an OEM:)
There are some things that Toshiba will re download usually amongst the Windows updates and are stuff that I don't think apart from being some sort of drivers for the machines otherwise everything is fine.

Now like I said I don't know about HP stuff and the best thing you can do is just Google what any particular application you are considering throwing overboard and find out what they are for.

CSRSS basically is part of running all cod in Windows other than the kernel and drivers. It is part of Windows so you don't have to worry about it.
DWM gives you the effects of Aero for your Windows, which is basically the transparency effect part of Windows 7.
HpqToaster is a HP software process, it can be associated with many different HP software.
NVVSVC and NVXDSYNC is part of the Nvidia Graphics.
QLBCtrl is another HP process that runs Quick Launch Buttons.
Rundll32 is a Windows process that launches the functions of DLLs.
Taskeng is for running scheduled tasks such as opening software on startup.
Taskhost is a Windows process that is the host for all DLL based services running.
Winlogon is responsible for loading your profile when loging on to Windows and locking your computer automatically if set to.

The only thing that is not essential is HpqToaster and QLBCtrl unless you use the software associated with it.

Yep but I ma wondering if these will download lie the Toshiba stuff did with my machines and leave the crapware out as surely a machine should run Windows or any other OS without having to have most of the HP stuff??

Thanks guys for the help. I'm not really interested in reinstalling Windows to remove the bloat, I've manually done most of it already, and Windows has run pretty ok even with the bloat installed..

I just have a few programs left to uninstall and was hoping you guys might have an opinion on any one of the 2010 picks. I want to uninstall the drivers in the pic i attached (aside from the Intel one), but am not sure if i should. I remember updating the Adobe AIR and Flash in the past, but can't remember if they installed correctly. I don't use Windows Media Player so i assume i no longer need WM Encoder 9.

You should look at msconfig / startup and see what you have.
Maybe just unchecking unneeded programs to "auto-start" will be best.

Post a screen print of your msconfig / startup.

• JMicron Flash Media Controller Driver

how do i check 'msconfig / startup'? what does that do?

You should keep the Media Controller Driver(for SD cards and other memory cards) and the Ethernet driver in case you ever need to use it. I have no idea what the ENE CIR does though.
Adobe Flash Player should only be kept if you really need it because it is often has security holes used in malware attacks. Adobe AIR should only be kept if needed too. I also don't know what the Windows Media Encoder does, but it is not malware because it is on the Microsoft website and most likely made by them.
To go to MSConfig, follow the example section in the following tutorial: Control Panel - Add or Remove "System Configuration" (msconfig) (Ignore the name as you only have to follow the example section to get to MSConfig)
Take a screenshot of the startup tab so we can see what can be removed from startup.
