    Thanks, I'm considering a pair of these in Raid0 for the new i7 machine I'm working on, after the prices come down some more; I'd be interested to see if anyone has done that yet and the results.

    Yeah, the MSRP from Intel is $229 for the 80GB's...but since demand is so high and supply is so low...everybody is charging a premium.

    I thought about getting a second one down the road and will consider that if 80GB seems to be too small. Right now, things are fine as I only have about 20GB worth of stuff installed on C...everything else is data on my secondary drive.
