I would post the score, but since it's not my score, I don't feel like I should without the owners permision, despite the fact that he posted it, His low was Processor at 7.8 with a 4.5 OC.

Not the best scores on here, but I'm pretty happy with them.

Since I'm not SATISFIED AT ALL with my HDD score, I'll elaborate how my HDD does on performance:
    Sequential Read score=7.0 (126.35812 MB/s)
    Random Read score=4.1 (1.86000 MB/s)

    AverageIORate score=6.7 (2.43000 ms/IO)

    GroupedIOs score=7.3"

    LongIOs score=7.5

    Overall score=6.9

Not sure arkhi, read you can't get past the 5.9 mark on a HDD. Would have to make the jump to a SSD. I had a raptor HDD and the best score I could get was a 5.9. Got a X25-M SSD and jumped up to a 7.7

So thats the best I can hope for without SSD? So much for the 3.0Gb/sec rating on a Barracuda.

I know, that's why I used WEI's performance logs to evaluate how much I should be getting as my score. The scores I posted are scores WEI gave me based on each performance test. I suggest others do the same with old HDDs :)

hmm... my pretty average SATA II Barracuda already scores 5.7.

maybe with SATA III 6 Gbps we could hit more?

btw just out of topic question...
i like the way your desktop was configured...
with the time and date...system info on the left side..
    how'd you do that? ^_^

    Edit:
    btw mine's 5.9
    screenies to follow...
I did not do that work, I just changed positions, sizes colors etc. I used this tiny app called rainmeter Rainmeter.net . My desktop looks so good I want to hump it. I also added 3D like linux beryl so I can rotate between mac os, linux and windows without minimizing any windows.
