I really don't think a full 7.9 is possible yet.

    Hello SK!

    I read this yesterday.

    Michael Fortin said:
The bottom line is that, in order to achieve a perfect 7.9 Windows 7 score, users will have to buy a computer powered by at least an 8 core processor. However, the processor is simply not enough. Customers will also have to feed their machine with RAM, somewhere in the vicinity of 8 GB. At the same time, Solid State Drives (SSDs) with very high random I/O rates and as low as possible latency issues will also contribute to getting close to 7.9. When it comes to graphics, users will need a card with at least DirectX 10 support and a WDDM 1.1 driver.
    Good luck y'all!

I'm in the same boat as you. I am going to upgrade the Video card from 260's to 295+'s thanks to EVGA's upgrade program But I'm not going to invest a grand in SSD, can't justify replacing TB drives with 64G drives at $399 a pop.

Okay I know it isnt as hefty and robust or new like some of you're machines. But it gets the job done! Especially for it's small form factor.

Hello all, I think my 10K RPM WD Raptor is an awesome drive but I believe the size is killing my score... love the forum so far!
