a single ssd will take you to 6.9-7.1 in the HDD catagory raid 0 around 7.5 in that catagory, You will still be stuck at 6.5 - 6.8 untill DX11 comes out, or untill they improve the graphic drivers, the higest graphics score I've seen anywhere is 6.8, these Numbers are based on the OCZ vertech series.

What about a 30gb SSD for the OS and then 4x640gb in RAID 5? And then get my CPU re-oc'd to about 4.16ghz and I think I'll be fine lols.

I don't get it. Why on earth does everyone want to sacrifice storage for speed. I would rather have a 1TB 7,200 RPM Harddrive instead of a 32GB SSD. Call me thick, but I don't see a tremendous advantage.

My crappy harddrive writes at about 3MB/s and that's fast enough for me. :)

I'm getting a 30gb SSD for ONLY the OS. All programs, data, etc, etc will be on other bigger drives.

My MB has 8 Sata Ports I have 3 30GB SSD's in Raid 0 for Win 7, 2 1TB Segates in Raid 0 for Vista, and a 1 TB segate for backup and anything I want to keep double copies of incase a drive on the raid fails. So I dont feel like I'm giving up a lot, As I still have 3.1 terabites of storage space. I can remember the days of RLL 10 KB drives costing almost as much as a car and most computors stored there information on a cassett tape. it took a half hour to load froger

Don't knock it till you try it, I'm sure if you used one you would think twice about wanting to give it up again, not that I have tried one yet, nor will I until they become mainstream, but for those who can afford such luxuries, more power to them.

    My score is...Unrated :\

I have Aero enabled, and I fear that if I allow Windows to rate and give me a WEI, I may be restricted from it.
