Just upgraded my RAm to 8 GB (4 x 2GB DDR2 800), and my WEI scores have jumped a bit to 5.9.
My old score used to be 5.5.

Here is mine.... want to boost my HDD score. Best $$$ option I see right now is a WD Caviar Black 640GB drive...
Incidentally I increased the Processor and memory scores by .1 each by maxing out the AdditionalDelayedWorkerThreads and AdditionalCriticalWorkerThreads to 16 as suggested in a another thread but your mileage may vary.
Increasing these values distributes your resources across a wider range of processes at the expense of each individual process.
Gamers would want lower values (when gaming) and multi-taskers would want higher values.
If your goal is transient and you just want to post a high WEI, I believe the maximum value for this key is 25 - I do not recall my source for this value, and I do not know at value reciprocity will fail.
Multi-tasking maniac here!
Besides, if a system has enough horse-power and enough memory, the differences in 3DMark, etc gaming benchmarks for OS tuning - single task versus multi task are insignificant. That is based on my personal experience with a quad-core 3GHz system. Given a sufficent processor and memory level, gaming benchmarks/performance are totally dominated/determined by the video card(s).
But I DO shutdown all unecessary tasks when starting a gaming session.

Personally, I think that the WD 1TB Caviar Black is better than most of the SSD's out there. Sure it's slower than them, but the storage is enormous.
