    WEI-7.9 Overall.
    I call shenanigans.

System spec has red flags. I run my i7 faster that this by .5 ghz and still only get 7.6 We all know the limits on mechanical HDD.
Exactly right, it's no way possible to get 7.9 overall yet.

You need the fastest processor to be twice as fast,
You need the fastest RAM to be twice as fast and running with 8GB
You need the fastest GPU (ATI 5890) to be a half faster than what it is.
You need the fastest SSD to be 3 times as fast.

    In short nope!
    Are You Sure?

And I Not Sure WHo It Was But In RAM terms im using 2x24 GB DDR3 RAM Kits.

Would Like some more info on the above post, as I'm running the EVGA X58 classified, and have given up on the persuite of 7.9 untill the next gen of CPU's, the 6 core monsters. My 920 is at 4.3, and the 7.9 eludes me. Even with Dual 295's, Intel SSD's in in raid 0 Mushkin Redline Ram Pushed above 1600, I've pushed it as far as I could, if the 7.9 is lagitment, some system spec's would be appreciated.

I'm not saying that the 7.9 isn't real, but its pretty easy to give your system any score you want by editing an xml file.

I think people are a little too worried about their scores.....at some point one would hope people could outgrow the whole "mine's bigger" aspect. If your hard drive score is 5.9, for example, it is not the end of civilization as we know it.

    Forgive the editorial.....that's just my

Well I see your using the 761 motherboard, Im using the ez59, but i see no real difference in cpu benifits (, And Are You Using Direct Contact Liquid Cooling FOr Your i7, COnsidering you have overclocked it? This Can effect your overall performance, as just because it is running at over 4Ghz does not mean that it is at its best, i find it runs best at less than 3.8 Ghz.
