I'm quite sure I can push my 5970 quite high and get 7.9 gaming/graphics, not sure if I can get 980x to 7.9 on water though. I've seen some 7.9 cpu scores they were all 5ghz+ on ln2"
    End Quote

I have seen some 7.8's on 980EE processors, 7.7 is as high as I could get on a 920, I've yet to see a real 7.9 anwhere, I've mentioned it here before, cant justafy $1000 processor to gain .1 on WEI, but wish you luck on your indever, as I would love to see a true 7.9, my max is:

I'm also not sure where the quote tab, or reply on each post, is no longer showing , but responded best I could with the options I had. make sure you post back how you do with that 980.

@KMoore4318: Great score, I've seen 10 people or more with true 7.9, they're all LN2 though. I know I can get 7.8 cpu as my wc is good enough to get to 4.5ghz+ with my 980. I just don't know if I can push high enough to get the last .1. My 980 is here I posted a pic of it a page or 2 back, will install it in a couple days. I'm sure you'd see more true 7.9's around if this benchmark actually meant anything and anyone actually cared. ;p I kind of stumbled onto it and figured why not. As I'm sure you know it doesn't mean much.

What it means to me is doing something that was said couldn't be done, Well the quote was From M$ at the time of the release of Win 7 Beta, I've just always liked imposable goals. I've had my score, or close to it, since Late Beta 6000, I've always had a small problem with Bucking Authority, legally of course, and tried my best to nail it.

Nothing major, but compared to my laptops WEI scores, this is earth shattering.

Buying what you want is even better

(I'll let you know what it's like if that ever happens )
