I have no Superfetch Service

    I have no Superfetch Service




    Dont know what happened but i think that Advanced SystemCare is to blame.

    Because yesterday I wanted to restore Superfetch service with

    @echo off
    sc config SysMain start= auto
    sc start SysMain
    exit

    but that didnt help. and today when I started ASC it deleted some value to optimize sysmain.dll

Is there a way to make superfetch only "fetch" applications and not the entire movie I watched the other day?

Have they changed its code in some fundamental way? I always used to have to disable it eventually on vista as it was very greedy with ram, quite frequently leaving me with very little head room. But, on W7 it seems incredibly well behaved. It's almost as if is not enabled.
