To me this almost sounds like a possible ram issue or another hardware issue of some type. Can you access and use windows normally at all? If you can; I would try and download and run memtest86+ from a flash drive. Run several passes and see if it comes up with any errors. Below is the link to that:

Can you boot to Safe mode with Networking and login there? If so, how does it run?

out of memory error... right click on your COMPUTER icon on your desktop. Click Properties then Advanced System Settings.

    Next Performance / settings

Advanced / virtual memory / change

On the drive with your pagefile highlight it and change it to custom.

Now set that Initial size / maximum size to the same value ( about half your actually Memory installed on windows 7 is great) ex: if you have 8GB memory set it to 4096 ... if you have 4GB memory set it to 2048. Make sure you set both the initial and max to the same value.

**(( back in the old days the said to set pagefile to 2.5+ the size of memory, that's old crap))

now do that and reboot. If you set the initial size and maximum to the same value you will never get the out of memory error again. Once your pagefile is full it will just kick old stuff out that isn't being used and make space for the new.

I wanted to say this before some oldschool geek trapped me. the old way that the pagefile worked was it would EXPAND if you need more memory.

EXAMPLE: if you had 2gb memory and it was full and your pagefile was 4gb windows would try to make your pagefile larger and larger ... and larger. It sucked. Eventually windows would POP UP with that memory error.

it doesn't do that in windows 7 much BUT it still happens on older laptops and some pcs even with windows 7 if you have minimal ram.

Even today in windows 7 if you let the system control the pagefile and your ram and, lets say you have 2GB ... and you exceed that windows will still try to expand your memory to pagefile and when that doesn't work...

    BAM!

    ERROR MEMORY EXCEEDED.

now ya know how to fix it... set your pagefile to initial/max the same.

    never get that message again.
