Disk Cleanup
I understand what defragment does but I’m not clear about disk cleanup.
Can someone please explain?
And also, please advise me if this is not the most appropriate discussion for this post.

Delete files using Disk Cleanup - Windows Help
If you enter "disk cleanup" into Windows Help, it will direct you to the above link.
Thank you,
I understand now that it will delete selected files. Most likely, I will not know what many of them are and/or if I need them for all to run properly. Is there some kind of list, somewhere, that will explain, or at least suggest, which/what type of files to delete?
I've never heard of anyone having issues with it.
It won't offer you anything that is critical to Windows functioning.
You choose the drive and it coughs up a list that you can checkmark. There's only 6 categories, mostly self-explanatory.
Optionally, you can ask it to also clean up system files.
I typically checkmark everything it offers, other than on the "more options" tab, which I don't use at all.
I want to attach a picture but when I click on the paperclip, nothing happens. What can I do?
I'm not sure someone with 6 posts can upload attachments. I could be wrong about that.
You should see a screen like this:
Thanks you,
What about this error message: “If you continue, you will have a flat tire on your car.” I’m going to try again on the attachments.
Life is short and if you take it seriously, you stay mad all the time…………..so I make jokes about it. but if that’s not funny enough, how about this: “Dick Cheney has hacked into your account and is stealing all your money”
