Why does the Defragmenter analysis start at 34%?

That analysis number is not that correct. Your defrag actually starts at 1% and completes at 100%

Disk defragmenter windows 7 a couple of questions?
I would like to ask the following questions 1) Can doing disk defragmenter damage hard drive or the laptop or doing it alot? 2) If I was in the middle of disk fragmenting and someone moved a chair causing floor vibration will this harm the hard drive or the laptop while disk fragmenting.
