    unable to run chkdsk


    HI,
    I am unable to install windows as i am getting error as "the partition is write protected" and i am unable to run chkdsk also in command prompt it gives the same error. I cant even install registryriver.exe as i cant login to run it....what shall i do?

    You have to know the password to do such things. Who installed the password?

    I have only installed the password and i know it..how to remove that read only thing?...i cant install any software as i am unable to login only...

    You won't be able to do those things unless you are logged in as administrator.

    If you forgot or want to change the password look down the list of tutorial.
    It's the only help we can or will give on retrieving passwords.

    I remember the password...but there is no windows installed in memory...it got crashed...and now i am trying to install it again...

    If those tutorials don't solve your problem I'm sorry but I can not and will not go any farther.

    I think u have got me wrong. can u share ur email-id so that i will send u a detail report of the problem i am facing..actually i am unable to install any software to repair it as i cant enter into windows....is there any method to install softwares from command prompt through installation drive...my id (manjunath971@gmail.com)
