Leptop won't boot Windows, help appreciated.
So I have a Samsung Windows 7 laptop. Pretty sure it's 64bit, I would love to tell more, but I can't boot windows to find out more. I'm in a start up repair loop, where it constantly tells me it can't boot windows, runs the repair, says it can't repair due to a disk problem (recalling from memory, please bear with possible misquoting.) I've occasionally been able to open up cmd and tried everything I could. I can't open a dir of C:\ which is my system drive, it just says file not found. I tried the sfc thing but it says there's a repair in progress please reboot and try again. Thing is, I can only open cmd from the additional options of the system repair. Which is the only thing I can ever bring up. Cant open Safe Mode or anything. I was able to bring up a dir of my D:\ drive which was just a 2nd drive I used to install games. uhhh... I don't really know what else to put. If anyone needs any other info, please tell me how to find it and I will gladly give it to you. I'm not a tech guy, but I understand some of it. (I think.) Oh yeah, and the additional options for System Reset/Restore won't work. For some reason my restore points are gone. And I don't have any sort of recovery or installation disks, coupled with being cripplingly poor. So I don't think I can afford any anytime soon. Any ideas?
(Final note: Not worried about any data on the lappy. I planned on factory resetting or whatnot once it was working anyway. So any way I can get it working is fine, data preservation not a big deal.)
