Windows 7 pro x64 16gb to 32gb, system hangs, random bsods

Hello all, not too long ago, I installed more memory to my system but results aren't as expected. I went from 16gb of trident x 2133 ddr3 in 2x8 configuration to 32gb of trident x 2133 ddr3 in 4x8 configuration. The system no boots a little slower and hangs up when opening browsers or folders ect. Any idea on what I should do? I replaced my motherboard today also to try and cure some bsods. IRQL, hardware errors, and memory management bsods plagued me. They would happen while gaming, right after boot up or watching youtube videos. Ran windows memory management and no errors were found. No bsod yet but this seem too good to be true. For some reason the system did not create any minidumps despite having them enabled. Motherboard is an msi 990fxa-gd80. Graphics card is an evga geforce gtx660ti

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Not all mainboards will support running 4 sticks of RAM at the same speeds/timings as 2 sticks.

Drop back to more conservative speeds and timings.

Or, test your mem one/two sticks at a time!

Windows 7 Professional x64

I will give that a try. I did the windows 7 re install trick with keeping all my data and no bsod so far. I enabled oc genie on the new msi board and it is moving faster. I was running on the xmp profile in the bios at first. No hang ups yet so we will see. I will be upgrading to a 500gb samsung ssd on Friday. Will it be best to just migrate everything over with the included migration kit or do a fresh windows 7 install and transfer my files over manually?

Win 7 pro 64 SP1

You will need to do a little homework. SSD needs AHCI drivers and BIOS changed to suit, if motherboard supports AHCI.
There are many ways to so called fix this problem. When Windows is first loaded with Sata selected in BIOS, none of the AHCI drivers are turned on. Samsung SSD's run very well. I use the the pro versions in 2 of my computers. BOOTS in less than 30 seconds if BIOS set right, 15 if computer light on programs. I have used the following, and it does work easily, and gives a description of what happens in this process. No need to reinstall Windows.
Error message occurs after you change the SATA mode of the boot drive
Also a very valuable tool for free, AOMEI Partition assistant. Will move the OS to SSD.

Sporadic system hangs/freezes, no BSODs or recent major HW/SW changes
A bit rambly, I apologize, but there's a TLDR blurb at the end. ***** A bit under two weeks I got on my computer in the morning and it was acting semi-frozen. I was able to swap between one or two windows before everything stopped responding. Throughout this I had full control of the mouse,...
