    Quick lock


    By the way, rather than going into lock by using your mouse to click Start, clicking the right arrow next to Hibernate, and then clicking Lock, here's a shortcut: Hold down the Windows Key and hit the "L" key (upper case or lower case). Saves a few seconds.

    got same problem with windows boot delay when aero enabled, basic theme removes this delay.....

    Unfortunately I don't think that is applicable; I have always used images on my background, not solid colors like the article mentions.
