    Troubleshooter cannot be started 0x800706F7


    Hi,

    I am new here so I'm not sure if this is the right place to be putting this. I have recently installed a few drivers and I cannot because they are not signed which is fair enough but when I try and go into the troubleshooter to install the driver manually I am presented with the error:

    A problem is preventing the troubleshooter from starting
    Error Code: 0x800706F7



    Any help will be really appreciated :)

I keep getting this message when I try to run the troubleshooter on my PC. Package ID: Device Center Diagnostic Path: Unknown Error Code: 0x800706f7 Source: engine User: (has my name) Context: elevated When I click troubleshoot, is shows a file msdt.exe.

I was having a play with the troubleshooter in the control panel and all the functions return an error "the parameter is incorrect" I'm guessing that this isn't active in the 6801 build? Or have I 'broke' something again :p:D
