Is there any way to speed up my old PC?

    Hello,

I have about 7 years old PC and it's really slow in last months. I reinstall windows last year.
Don't have any games, I'm using this PC only to Photoshop, Illustrator etc.

Is there any way to speed up my PC? Or will fix my problem HDD format and clean install?
Currently using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate but I have Home version too, so I can install it.

Here is report from Everest about pc's hardware, thank you so much for all answers.

If you like, here's a list of items below that you could pick and choose from to help the performance of Windows 7. :)

Thank you but I already did a lot of steps from guide you posted. So maybe format and clean install will be the best choice?

That would be the easiest way to start fresh.

I would go for the Ultimate edition since it will have more features available for you. It wouldn't make any difference for performance.

If you want some bang for your buck I would install a SSD by a quality manufacture.
A Clean Install on a SSD would speed up your computer a bunch.
