Need a Batch file or similar for "detect display" in display settings.

    Hi,

I need a batch or similar type file that will "detect display" from (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution).

HP dv6 use switchable graphics and they can be seriouly problematic to update. Anyway the only way i can use the latest driver is if i put up with aero not starting properly sometimes. I found out it's becasue the laptop is randomly deciding to switch to display 2 - when it should be 1. No display settings in that section will change when its in that state until "detect" is used.

Then i run a batch i have that restarts aero and it goes back to normal.
    "net stop uxsms
    net start uxsms"

Basically i want a batch(s) to detect displays and restart aero on startup. Im on windows 7.

Nevermind, found a way to make a shortcut to switch to computer only display; maybe having that on startup will sort it out.
