    Windows starting incredibly slowly... Seems to be since bios update...


    Hello guys!
    As you may have read in the title my computer have become really slow taking sometimes up to 5 minutes to show up the "welcome" loading screen.
    Symptoms:
    -My computer shows the black windows splash screen longer than ever before.
    -After that, the screen goes off (led blinkind, really off!) for ~30 seconds
    -I have a black screen with the mouse cursor for about a minute or more...
    -My computer loads my session with the sexy blue screen welcoming everyone.

    What I've done:
    Complete scan with Avira antivir : nothing at all
    Complete scan with Malwarebytes : nothing at all
    Complete scan with AdWare Cleanet : nothing at all
    My nVidia drivers are up to date.

    What happened before this:
    I was having hardware compatibilities issues with PCI-E wifi adapter (which I finally removed...).
    MSI told me to see if the compatibility issue was already there with Bios 1.0 of the card (which was unfortunately the case). From there it seems like that was the source of all the problems.
    Then I came back to update 1.9 of the bios. The screen still seemed to turn off as describes up there.

    So what do you think?
    I would be very pleased if anyone was able to help me!

    Hi!
    I finally managed to stick this cd in this computer!
    It says that it have nothing to repair (the computer still boots but is slow and shows some black moments).
    Maybe you/someone have any idea?

    Thank you for answering
    I just restarted with none of my custom services and programs and the problem is still there...
    Only the antivirus wouldn't uncheck but as I already had this problem with Avast (I've got avira ATM) this is clearly not what causes the problem.
    Sorry but I still have no result to give you...

    You could go back to the bios you had before this problem started. Be careful when you do it.
    I have done it on Asus motherboards without problems but never on a MSI motherboard.
    You might bonk your motherboard. You could check with MSI.

    Hello!
    I've already done this.
    In fact it seems that the problem have appeared when I downgraded to v1.0 (Msi asked me to do this because they are too lazy to make their bios compatible with Gigabyte gc-wb867d-i) which didn't fix my problem with the card.
    I then upgraded back to v1.9 (current version) but the problem is still there... (I've already reset the bios)
