Partition Wizard is a good tool, but you'd be a fool to assume it's 100 percent. So I'd backup everything on D and E that I couldn't afford to lose---if you are going to take space from both D and E. I assume it's data of some type. Maybe you already have it backed up?
I'd guess Partition Wizard can be put on a USB stick, although I've never done it. There might be a tutorial on this site.
There's a chance you can do it from the Windows version---not sure. It might allow you to request certain changes, but only apply them during a restart when Window isn't actually loaded. But I'd go with the USB stick method or go buy some CDs.
