Volsnap Error 25: all restore points deleted.
From time to time this happens. All my restore points are deleted. I don't understand the explanation or what to do or how to do it described here at Technet: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...eca00f722.aspx
For example, it tells me to right click any volume and click "configure shadow copies." When I click, I don't get that option.
I would like to keep my restore points. System protection is now set at 2% of the drive for restore points. What other relevant data do I need to share?
I wonder if this has to do with the length of time it takes to save my Lightroom catalog. I notice that the event occurred 4 minutes after the backup of the catalog, an action that takes up a large amount of hard drive space. I never run anything at the same time.
When they say move the shadow copy to another part, do they mean to create a new partition? I just have a C and D drive. Should I make a new partition in disk manager? If that's a solution, how do I get the shadow copies to be stored there?
I noted on another forum someone said changing "paging" (I don't know what it meant as I'm not very technical) restored his deleted restore point after rebooting.
