Disk Cleanup - Still Cleaning Out Actual Updates

Is Microsoft aware that Disk Cleanup > Windows Update Cleanup is still cleaning out actual updates?

This problem has been around for months and I thought they had fixed it but I just did a cleanup as I had 177mb sitting in that particular section and sure enough I am re-offered the following:
    KB3021952
    KB3032359

Disk Cleanup is not supposed to be doing that and yes, I know it's been discussed widely already. Just hoping someone with access to MS reads this.

I'm not from Microsoft but as far as my systems are concerned the problem has not been fixed.
I don't think they will fix it until they get done trying to shove Windows 10 sneaky updates into Windows 7.

Thanks but I think you are being unduly anxious about those updates. Nothing will ever be forced on anyone. Those particular updates are only designed to enable it to be offered through Windows Update, something that would normally be impossible.

177mb is insignificant, why keep deleting files there?

After reinstalling those 2 it's only 20.5mb. I had let it climb through several sets of updates. So I've now unchecked the option for now.

BTW I omitted to point out that the option only appears in an elevated Disk Cleanup (clean up system files).

On my systems Disk Cleanup only happens when I request it. As far a I know their should not be anything auto about it. It should only be On Demand.

There was some sort of discussion here and maybe elsewhere:

KB3023607 repeatedly removed by deepclean after - Microsoft Community

Would be nice to get it fixed.....

This is not the first time this has happened.
