SFC.exe - How seriously should I take this report?
Hey All,
I have run 'system file checker' from an elevated command prompt in windows 7. The command I used was the standard 'sfc /scannow'.
The report stated words to the effect 'windows found corrupt files, but was unable to fix some of them'.
My system is running healthy and fine. How seriously should I be taking these 'corrupt files'?
Would anybody here with a healthy system, be able to give me a 'sanity check' by running sfc and reporting whether or not they also have a report stating that corrupt files were found?
Any help will be rewarded with some good old forum rep :)
Kind Regards,
Eldar
