SFC /Scannow "unable to fix corrupt files"

    Hello again guys/ladies,
I've been having this sfc scannow thing come up with "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" for a while (last couple months), and now it's annoying me. I have no idea how to fix it.
    Help?
    Thanks :)

Should I post the CBS.log file?

    run this in cmd:
    Code:
    findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt
and attach the sfcdetails.txt instead (Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums)

    From here:
This update contains the following two manifests that are occasionally updated by the Diagnostic Tracking Service:

    • telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json
    • utc.app.json

The two files are marked as static files in the update. When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or actual corruption on a device that is running this update, and this issue will be fixed in a later service update.
You can uninstall KB3068708 and then hide it OR just leave it be.

Open Windows Update (Control Panel) and switch to Installed Updates. Search for KB3068708 and also for KB3022345. Right click when it is found and uninstall.

Then when Windows Update tells you to install these same updates, right click and Hide.

Ok I uninstalled the thing, but it hasn't told me to install the same update, so I didn't hide it. I don't see it...

I re-ran Sfc /scannow, and it's still coming up with the same thing. Was unable to fix some of them.
    I made a fresh sfcdetails.txt file.
    Here:
    sfcdetails.txt

Is your Windows set to auto-update? Did you uninstall both KBs?

Open Windows Update - Change Settings - under Important Updates make sure it is: "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them". Change it if now, and uninstall again, re-run sfc scannow

I don't think that KB3022345 is being offered via Windows update. It was replaced many days ago by KB3068708.

    From here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3022345

I've seen computers where uninstalling these* KBs did not fix the SFC scan results for those specific files. It won't hurt to leave the files alone. If people just cannot stand to do that, there is a fix out there. I've seen the fix fail too.

*that is not meant to imply that I've ever seen both KBs on one computer. I have not seen that. Maybe it could happen; I've just not seen it.

KB3022345 wasn't auto uninstalled with KB3068707 I guess. You are right it is not offered anymore. But might have ben installed from before.
