    How to destroy 3 files

Please note: My ( C: ) drive is an SSD and the ( X: ) drive is a 1 TB internal HD.

    The files are:

    Nitro_KissMetyrics.dll,
    Nitro_Updateservice,
    NitroPDFDriverService10x64

There is no uninstall program offered in Windows' Right-Click menu, and Delete there states "The action can't be completed because the file is open in NitroUpdateService" (which is one of the files I am trying to remove). I have tried getting my Antivirus AVG Cloudcare to permanently shred it but it refused, saying that the file is "opened in another program", which it can't be. Nitro Pro 10 converts PDFs to editable form. I deleted its very many associated files but these 3 remain. I am trying to get an answer from Nitro but no luck.

The reason I want to remove them is part of a cleaning program on my internal HD ( X: ) where Windows is refusing to include a System Image in its Backup and Restore routine, saying that the drive cannot be used because "A system image cannot be saved on a drive that your computer boots from or that Windows is installed on." Neither of these two features apply to ( X: ) It has only Documents, Pictures etc. I suspect that the 3 files might be the cause.

How can I get rid of them please?

Its OK. I have succeeded in deleting them, and am now doing a backup. (I discovered Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program. I must explore Control Panel more.
