Many problems/freezes with my custom pc!

    Ok yeah thats what I thought, but I wanna make sure nothing else is the problem so is there a way to check the cpu and psu and mobo?

    You can check CPU with torture tests, Intel Burn Test and Prime95. You can only check PSU with electronics tools I believe (you can check voltages in BIOS and software like HWInfo but not sure if it would mean PSU is totally healthy). No idea about mobo checking, too much going on with it.

    So I was playing BattleBlock Theatre with my friend and the screen started glitching with something going across the screen every once in awhile.This is really annoying seeing as I just started my pc and nothing was open. I have no idea whats wrong. It did it in full screen and windowed

    Hi does it do it with every game? is it still freezing? did you keep the bad stick of ram out?

    I have only played battleblock theater today cause I didnt want to go on it after that. Yes I did remove that stick of ram and it hasnt frozen in a long time *knock on wood* I did notice it only happened in the window in windowed mode, not sure if that changes anything

    Now I was playing synergy with my friends and it went into windows basic. I closed it out and my gpu was at 98% only running that game. Its not demanding at all and took forever to get to a lower percent and finally go back to normal windows my gpu clock only has 608 mhz but that should be way more then enough

    do you have or can you barrow another power supply to test with? one thats atleast 550 watts 650 watt supply would be better to test with.

    without swaping part could be hard to find whats actually causing it. i was thinking the power supply as one ram stick was bad but could be just a bad stick by itself. since your having problems with video card too it pointing more towards the power supply. but as i said without swapping part will not know.

    This could also be a problem. Having 2 anti virus programs.
