    Hi everybody,

I think I have solved it.
Looking at the "View Problem Details"

This research took me to here : Windows Explorer crashes - (ASUSWSShellExt64.dll / - Microsoft Community

It seems that the problem is caused by ASUS WebStorage software which I have un-installed and so far the crashes haven't happened since.......things are looking up..... knowing my luck though...I'm counting my chickens before they are hatched!!

If al is OK still in a few days, I will mark this as solved.

Removing bloatware is always a good idea. On my machine I downloaded a Win 7 ISO legally from digital river and freah installed windows without all the extras.

    Hi everybody,

Do you have problems with Windows Explorer (NB. NOT INTERNET EXPLORER) crashing?
    Is your computer from ASUS?
    Uninstall this ASUS WebStorage software.
This is the problem.......I uninstalled it several days ago and no more "Windows Explorer" has stopped working.

This can now be marked SOLVED!! I know, it will start again shortly afterwards.......knowing my luck.

    Regards ET
