    WEI error : Can't

    Hi,

I just recently did a fresh install of my OS and wanted to check my WEI score but I get this error when attempting it.

    Code:
    Could not measure storage performance.
Error: Failed to properly assess the disk. The parameter
    is incorrect.
    hope you can help

    cheers

From what I see in a Google search it may be a bad hard drive or your anti-virus is the culprit. Especially AVG or Avast. And if a program like AVG or Avast can do it, then it's certainly possible some other program could interfere.

    Hi

just dissabling the AV is not enough it has to be uninstalled
note a lot of security folks are talking about ditching it

lightest and very user friendly minimal setup options - Bitdefender free
if you want a more user controlled option try Kaspersky, includes a vpn still free
