SFC cannot repair - corrupted file in store

In reply to NoelDP - thank you for responding to my request.
I attach the latest CbsPersist file as requested.
    Regards,
    Paul

Edit: Cab file is too large (I don't know how to get a smaller piece extracted), I attach the sfcdetails.
Please advice if current attachment doesn't do to trace the problem.
    Thank you.

Here's link to the CbsPersist file: http://www.**************/download/n...0804220630.cab

    Thanks Noel.

As in your PM, the only problem that shows in the SFC is this one...
    Code:
    2015-08-08 19:02:52, Info CSI 0000036b [SR] Repairing 1 components
2015-08-08 19:02:52, Info CSI 0000036c [SR] Beginning Verify and Repair transaction
2015-08-08 19:02:52, Info CSI 0000036e [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:58{29}]"Microsoft.VisualBasic.targets" of NetFx-MSBuild_Targetfiles, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope neutral, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:b03f5f7f11d50a3a}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch
( you really need to find a better fileshare host than that POS media fire!)

I'll post a fix once I've checked a couple of things.

    I've uploaded a file - psiaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.

Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Change the target to C:\ and click on Extract
Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)

Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
    Pick that
You'll have to log in with your username and password.

Pick the option to use a Command Prompt
    At the prompt type
    DIR C:\psiaa
hit the enter key - if you get a 'Not Found' error try
    DIR D:\psiaa
    or
    DIR E:\psiaa

The drive letter in use when you find the folder will need to be substituted (for<drive>) into the following command...

    XCOPY <drive>:\psiaa <drive>:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h

    (e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h )

run the command (it should take almost no time) and when the prompt returns, type
    EXIT
and hit the Enter key to exit Command Prompt - reboot to Normal Mode Windows.

Now run SFC /SCANNOW in an Elevated Command Prompt
then reboot and upload the new CBS.log file to your reply

    Thank you Noel.

I'll join OneDrive, and upload the resulting CBS.log there

This will be a while - as I have a pressing matter to take care of first.

    Regards,
    Paul

UPDATE: Noel, I can't enter the Repair Environment by tapping F8 nor can I go to Safe Mode with F5. I think I buggered up my system by upgrading to Win10 on Aug 3 and when I can't get three important programs to run properly - I reverted back to Win7 that same day (by recovery through Acronis 2010).

When I do get a response tapping F8 I ended up in the Win10 Repair Environment ... Sooo, I think I must clean reinstall my OS ...

I'll let you know as soon as I'm able to figure this out (reinstall or repair).

I must thank you for your prompt response/help, however I can't tie you down with this new problem of mine. I'll PM you, thanks again.

    Paul
