When the scan completes, you want to see, "SFC did not find any integrity violations." So, run it again... until you see this statement.

However, if you do not see the above statement, then post back with another screenshot of new results.

You need to reboot between each sfc /scannow

Re-run sfc /scannow, as the program may take 2 or 3 runs to give a clear result.

Reboot after each scan as suggested by Layback Bear.

    Sorry for the delay.

There was some corruption which was repaired. But, scan results look fine now.

What prompted you to run SFC in the first place? Are you having system problems?

    If so, please explain.

    Thanks,

    John

    Good morning John.
Many thanks for your reply. With good news regarding the sfc logs.

The reson that I did the check was that I have been having an issue with one update ''KB295664''.
It's all about the windows 10 notification icon,I don't have this icon and been trying to figure out the reason why,Looked on google and found some info regarding certain updates.Noticed that the KB295664 was the three times.
That was one of the reasons for the sfc check.
    Thank You very much.

    Trendy:

Do you have any interest in upgrading to Win 10 on your existing computer?

If yes, you can do so regardless of any icons or KB295664.

If no, why would you be concerned at all about the icon or the KB?

    ignatzatsonic.
Thank You for your thoughts on this,Maybe I did think about W10 but on second thoughts I'll wait a while to see how things get on.
I have installed it on a spare W7 laptop that I had and it seems to be running okay,Will experiment with that before the desktop change over.
    Thank You once again.
