    If i dont restart for a day or 2 my ram usage slowly...


    goes up why is that???

    I'd assume some programs may not have closed properly, and have left things running in the background, OR instead of closing the program, the X just minimises it to tray, and you haven't noticed..

    everything seems closed, i did ntoice even after my ipod is unplugged that service stays up, its jsut it starts off low, and the last night it was up to 1.8 gigs of ram usage. i was like whoa how did that happen, and even after i exited out of everything and just on my desktop it went to 1.7

    there was nothing in there besides the flag and the little thing for my storage usb external hard drives. now i opened everything else, like steam aim xfire.

    hmm, this is where some pics are needed, can you expand the system tray (screenshot), and open the Process tab in Task Manager and take a screenshot of that too, and post it up. See if i can see anything out of the ordinary.
