    Cpu speed

So i got a 1.0 GHz AMD Dual-Core Processor E1-2100 Accelerated Processor and i was just wondering ia there any way i can make it better. I know you can buy a new cpu but my pc dont support that i have to change the whole motherboard for that! So any tips and tricks on making it more faster. This is kinda a problem but not so much but it would be nice if the cpu was better.

Making a CPU run faster than what it was designed for is known as overclocking. This is normally not possible on a notebook and in any event it is a bad idea. All else being equal the faster an electronic device operates the more power it will consume and the hotter it will get. That is the laws of physics. Heat is a big problem in the confined space and limited ventilation of a notebook. For that reason there is usually no provision for overclocking.

Notebooks are designed for portable access to the Internet and other modest computing power. They are not designed for high performance.

Do those CPUs have dynamic frequency scaling? Maybe you can at least make the CPU run at 100% processor state. Sometimes helps with a snappier experience even though more power is consumed.

Get HWInfo and run with sensors-only. What does it say for the CPU frequency? If it is 1 Ghz then don't bother with the below info.

Now (if you haven't already) either adjust your active power plan (processor power management - min processor state=100%) or switch to High Performance plan. Power Plan Settings - Change

If you don't have min max processor states in the Processor Power Management section than most likely that CPU doesn't support that feature or SteepStep (Intel) or Cool&Quiet(AMD) is already disabled - which means CPU is already at 100%.
