    what marked in red is my problem.
    i have an msi ex623 laptop. my boot time is over 3 minutes. in vista it took half a minute.
    can somebody help me??

    Hi.

    Go into the bios and ensure that Plug and Play OS is set to yes, if there's a setting like that or similar.

    Run chkdsk /r in safe mode with command prompt and post a screenshot of your installed apps and msconfig startup tab or use autoruns.

    i have no programs installed at all i just installed windows again and is still takes long time to reboot.
    i tried chkdsk it doesn't help too.

    intel core 2 due t6400 2.0ghz
    2g ram
    gforce 9500m
    wdc bevt 250gb hard disc.
