White static lines horizontal moving vertically upwards

    Hi guys.

I recently got a new 34" samsung LCD curved monitor that costs about £750 but the problem i'm having with it is, what exactly the title says! When i turn my monitor on thats when i get those white staticy lines moving upwards and my screen is awfull blurry like the desktop icons. Screen resolution is set to NATIVE refresh rate 60hz as its only a 60hz monitor. This doesn't happen alot mind you its kinda random last time was about 3-4 weeks ago maybe? Next time i will provide pictures.

    Windows 7

    GTX 780

Power cable is plugged into the main socket

HDMI/DVI? Would it fix if you power cycle TV?

    Try:
    - another data cable
    - another GPU port
    - another TV port

Idea is to try other ports on GPU or monitor and different types of interface (DP/DVI/HDMI) so you can find out if any of these are causing it.
