Windows 7: Having Trouble Running "System File Checker (SFC)"!

Also, if you decide to try to replace drivers, they should be located in C:/Windows/system32/Drivers. If you want to try to replace, for example, VGA.SYS, first rename your current driver from VGA.SYS to VGA.SYS.BAK then paste the driver you want to use in that folder. It must be named VGA.SYS. That is the driver name Windows is looking for and will not load it by any other name. Name it EXACTLY what the original one was named.

The browse-box(s) works fine I try just a single file but when I press the proper "upload" button it just goes and goes and finally I assume times-out giving me a "this page is not available ....[fix network problems]....I have no network issues or internet connectivity ones. I tried uploading a single dump file, nada! Other pages are working fine U/Ls and D/Ls on other tabs or windows. system isn't running slow or anything?! I did already move it to my desktop and try it as well. I've uploaded attachments earlier in this very thread with no problem (Hence the frustrated "headbanging simile").

Yep, I got ya'! I just tried to pull it from the DVD since it was early in the whole process and I was suspicious of either file corruption and/or malicious software that might be in the driver file itself. It would probably be clever enough to infect the backed-up copy, so I played it safe.

I did rename the originals first something like _vga.sys_ or something along those lines, and then kept them in the same folder so I can track them down if desired. Thanks for the advice still! It gives me some degree of validation, and troubleshooting like any problem-solving is like 80-90% mental! In other words, I'm not intending on coming across as the "Yes, I already know that, I did that!" type! So long as you know that, then I don't have to tippy-toe around saying something someone might take the wrong way! Etc... :)

Iím going to keep working on those uploads for a little bit....

Thanks for your ongoing help!

I DO get the "Uploading File(s) - Please Wait" that appears in the attachment manager window, and the filename is correctly in the textbox (w/browse button) - either <path><filename>".rar" or ".zip" then after about.....maybe 5 minutes or so, it flashes to the browser screen:

I just tried it and it worked fine. There are 2 upload buttons. Are you sure you are using the top upload button?

Ahhh ha! Found a LAN cable that was just twisted enough that I was basically introducing some "snow" or interference into the signal. It didn't show up with any other site but the upload here! But anyway, grabbed a new cord and all is well! The minidump files SHOULD be attached (notice one has a size of zero, this was as it was on he computer's HDD.)

Like I mentioned I also through in that bootlogger file for what it's worth!

For some reason I can't open your Minidump folder. In the bootlogger, it appears most of the files would be in your chipset drivers.

OK, I finagled it to open. Your last dump file is 10-13

It's difficult to read a file like this because it is listing most everything, but what it blames is Avira.

Code:
fffff880`031a76a8 fffff880`0405db17Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\avipbb.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avipbb.sys

I've run 3 of the dumps now and each one blames Avira. One dump blamed Avira and your Nvidia storage driver nvstor.sys.

Yes. I've never done much with DMP files so I'm not to sure about their significance. I'm intelligent enough to suspect that it's information that is stored when some event happens or triggers it. I paged through the readable ASCII characters naming drivers and locations and so forth. When are they generated? BSODs? What can you briefly say about them that might make me appreciate their significance I guess is what I'm asking you..
it's been over three weeks since windows has reached the logon screen, so 10-13 and many other entries are when windows wasn't running, at least as a functional OS.
The update log ended at 9-20-15, and I thought that that seemed about right for the date that Windows last functioned (plus or minus)

The boot logger on the present system I'm on (32-bit Wind 7 pro) has a similarly long list of almost identical chipset drivers and the likes. Perhaps you have another sampling to compare it to o one of your systems, since I can't reasonably say that that's abnormal without some independent comparison samples. (If that even makes sense, the way I typed it!)
